Gillar upplägget med en miljökämpe som har påhittiga metoder för att sätta dit miljöbovar. Gillar också det naturvetenskapliga temat, mest inriktat på kemi. Så jag skulle klassa den som hard sci-fi vilket automatiskt drar upp betyget från mig. Prosan är inte någon förebild men den har en jargong som är skoj. Det är den enda av Stephensons böcker (i skrivande stund) som blivit översatt till svenska. Hade nog hellre läst den på engelska men det blev lättare med kemin på svenska. Det är Stephensons andra bok och den har väl lite väl snabba övergångar ibland mm, men blir aldrig tråkig och håller spänningen rakt igenom!
