Jag tyckte väldigt mycket om Richard Ropers förra roman ”Hundra skäl att leva” så förväntningarna på hans nya roman var höga.
Jag tycker om hur Richard berättar sina historier. Hur han gestaltar miljöer, karaktärer och med varsam hand ömsint berättar historien om Theo och Joel. De som varit vänner men som tappade bort varandra. Nu möts de igen för första gången på över 10 år och ger sig iväg på en trettio mil lång vandring längs Themsen. Kommer de att hitta tillbaka till varandra? Till det som är viktigt.
Jag tyckte om att man fick både Theo och Joels perspektiv i de olika kapitlen. Boken är känslosam, humoristisk full av värme och en bok jag kommer att tänka på ibland. Tyckte mycket om berättelsen om Theo och Joel.
Rekommenderas varmt.
