Brittisk socialrealism är väl inte min kopp te, så jag är frestad att ge den en tvåa. Dock får jag väl erkänna att boken bitvis har en del intressanta insikter att bjuda på beträffande den brittiska arbetarklassen och då speciellt kvinnornas situation i 70-talets England.
