Det känns trevligt att åldras med Ben Cooper! Den älskvärda landsbygdskriminalaren åldras med förundran och förändring. Jag gillar detta, det är en långsam men underfundig och tänkvärd handling, fasansfull i vissa delar. Mycket funderingar kring åldrande och död – och ensamhet. Diane Fry är med på ett hörn här också, allt svårare att förstå sig på. Här finns möjligheter för framtida deckare, både när det gäller Cooper och Fry och den nya obducenten. Bara att se fram emot nästa bok!

Kortare än vanligt och lite mer ytskum, men visst är det Fry och Cooper i högform. Hoppas dock på mer i nästa bok som blir nummer 17 i ordningen, annars börjar det nog bli dags att avsluta serien.
