Jag njöt av språket, karaktärerna och miljöerna i boken, liksom andra böcker skrivna av Minette Walters. När jag sen läste Acid Row och Fox evil blev jag besviken över råheten och hur baksidan av England visas. Jag läser inte Minette Walters längre.
