Stanley Robinsons roman "Framtidsministeriet" skildrar en nära framtid där mänskligheten enas för att hantera klimatkrisen. Boken börjar med en dödlig värmebölja i Indien, vilket traumatiserar huvudpersonen Frank May och driver honom till klimataktivism.samtidigt arbetar Mary Murphy byråkratiskt för att vända utvecklingen. Trots hyllningar från bland andra Bill Gates och Barack Obama, tycker jag att romanens stil är för enkel och saknar litterärt djup. Skildringen av katastrofen är för mild och inte fångar de fulla konsekvenserna av en sådan händelse. Men boken är fullt godkänd omän lite lång.
