Herregud vilken bok! Blev helt knockad. Boksmälla deluxe. Fler som läst? Jag känner precis som huvudpersonen i nutids-delen (boken varvar Ukraina under svälten 1932-1933) med nutid): VARFÖR kände jag inte till Holodomor? Varför läste vi inte mer om det i skolan? Miljontals ukrainare svalt ihjäl just 1932-1933 under Stalin, vilket kallas just Holodomor. Historien här är fiktiv, men författaren @erinlittekenauthor är ukrainsk ättling och mycket bygger på vad hennes mormor berättat för henne. Otroligt givande bok både ur ett historiskt perspektiv, men också fiktivt. Läs om ni inte redan gjort det! Men varning: Trots att det är en bladvändare är den tung. Det är nog ganska uppenbart.
