Jag ska vara ärlig och erkänna att jag aldrig har läst en bok av Agatha Christie, eller om Hercule Poirot tidigare. Däremot pratade jag en del om Christie för mina gäster när jag arbetade som guide på Nilen i mina yngre dar. Så jag hade lite koll på henne men inget rörande hur hennes skrivande såg ut. Nu är ju denna bok inte skriven av Christie utan av Hannah. Men hon har alltså blivit headhuntad av Agathas familj för att herr Poirot ska få leva vidare. Så jag tänker att språken och utformningar rimligtvis borde vara något så när lika (rätta mig gärna om så inte är fallet!).
Boken har ett fint flöde där ledtråd efter ledtråd läggs på. Språket och beskrivningarna tar en verkligen till 30-talet och jag kommer på mig själv flera gånger att gå runt att mumla "n'est-ce pas?", "mon ami".
Jag gillar boken och fullkomligt älskar bokens omslag, så snygg!
