Iain M Banks (M=Sci Fi) skriver om en framtid då stark AI sedan länge lämnat oförbättrade människor långt bakom sig. Precis i min smak är även resten av miljön präglad av fantasifull framtidsteknik som inramning till det övergripande mysteriet, jakterna och striderna. AI-avatarerna är roliga och deras kampteknik präglad av hard core sci fi. Förutom de artificiella intelligenserna finns en handfull mer eller mindre speciella karaktärer (människor) som ger extra stadga åt berättelsen. Rekommenderas.
