Re-read 2018.

“You want to hear something ridiculous? Whenever I’m scared out of my wits, I tell myself: My name is Sam Cortlander...and I will not be afraid. I’ve been doing it for years.”

This book wrecked me as much this time as the first time. “The Assassin and the Healer” & “The Assassin and the Underworld” is probably my favorite novellas. It’s not often that I get really emotional when reading but it’s something with the way Sarah J.Maas writes that makes you feel like you’re a part of the story she’s telling.

My heart broke the first time reading this book and I’m pretty sure that it broke again this time.

Celaena is a character that I just can’t help but love. She’s charming, witty and sarcastic. She also got a big heart under her rock hard facade.

The Assassin’s Blade contains 5 novellas that tells you the story of Celaena Sardothien’s life before Throne of Glass.

If you haven’t read the Throne of Glass series or have read the series but not this book I really recommend it.

⭐️ “The Assassin’s Blade” by @therealsjmaas is of course a 5/5.

2017:

After reading the Throne of Glass Novellas I decided to read this books and gosh, I love it. Finding out more about Celaena Sardothien and her past (including handsome and charming Sam Cortland) makes me love the other Novellas even more. If you have read Throne of Glass (or not) you should read this book! You won't get disappointed.
