Någon skrev att den här boken skulle bli den bästa jag läste 2016. Så kommer inte att bli fallet. Den här samlingen noveller når inte fram till mig, de håller sig på avstånd. Någon gång, under läsningen, så kändes det skriva så sökt. Tröttnade då på stilgreppen. Och så längtade jag efter Alice Munro.
