Lawrence (18851930) was a prolific writer whose work included fifteen novels, six collections of short stories, three dramas, eight collections of poetry as well as numerous travel books and essays. He is best known for his ultimate novel Lady Chatterleys Lover (1928), a story that created much scandal due to its erotic content and frank depiction of female sexuality. Although the novel was banned in many countries, it gained success throughout the world and is now considered a classic work of fiction....
