Steven Pinker är utför som vanligt ett hästjobb när han dyker ned i språket; här med tonvikt på att undersöka vad detta säger om "mentala kategorier" men även om mycket annat. För att vara populärvetenskap (det är det väl?) är det ganska krävande.

Språknördigt (såklart), bitvis jättespännande, filosofiskt, smart humoristisk, men så obönhörligt torr att ett sandpapper verkar läskande.
Jag tvekar: är detta djupa insikter om människan, eller handlar det i själva verket inte om någonting?
