Annika Larsson`s films are important and of great interest to an institution such as Dunkers Kulturhus because of her pioneering combination of contemporary visual expressions and a willingness to problematize structural issues associated with beauty, violence, and related areas.She is the first to acknowledge the voyeuristic aspect of her work- a trait which characterizes large parts of the visual culture surrounding us daily, both within the kinetic media and on other surfaces in the urban landscape.
