"Odd One Out" by Nic Stone. Review in English and Swedish! ❤️

Life is a journey without a map, and as such, we'll all encounter twists and turns that force us to correct our course or change directions entirely.

"Odd One Out" is a intense and strong story about love, sexuality, gender identity and finding yourself. The book is divided into three parts/books, book one: Courtney, book two: Rae and book three: Jupiter, which I absolutely love. Different POVS always makes a story more interesting to me and in this book the reader really gets the chance to come close to the three main characters.

I adore Courtney's and Jupiter's relationship and did from the very first pages. It's filled with so much love and surety that I get all warm and fuzzy inside reading about it. When Rae is added to the mix things gets even more complicated than before but at the same time she comes to have a huge part in the story and both Coop's and Jupe's lives.

I'm usually not the biggest fan of love triangels but in this book I really like it. The complicated feelings both Coop, Rae and Jupe feels throughout the story feels real and necessary, while in other books love triangels often is the opposite of that.

That LGBTQIA+ has such a big part of this story is simply amazing. It's definitely something so important that needs to take more space in all genres. Two out of three main characters in this book tries to find out whether they are interested in men or women or perhaps are bisexual or pansexual...Or maybe don't find in, in any of these boxes ?

This is the first book I have read written by Nic Stone and oh gosh, why haven't I read her other books? Stone's writing style is beautiful and detailed, filled with emotions, thoughts and has a flow that makes it impossible to put the book down. ❤️

"Odd One Out" by @nicstone gets 4/5 stars from me!
