On his reading graph, Su Tong has illustrated works by Italo Calvino, Vladimir Vladimirovich Nabokov, Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, Manmohan Singh, Milan Kundera among other western authors, while interpreting productions by Zhou Zuoren, Nieh Hualing, Wang Anyi, Chi Zijian among other Chinese writers. In addition, he made comments on 8A1/2 , La Dolce Vita by Federico Fellini, while holding original views on short novels.
