Bara ytterligare en Culture-bok kan man tycka, men det är inte så bara. Handlingen är bitvis spännande, men den stora behållningen ligger i åkturen genom Banks idéer. Så långt kommen i serien tycker jag det här är den bästa boken näst Use of Weapons.
