Jag fortsätter att dras till Sean Duffy, till 80-talets Irland och mordgåtor som varvas med politik, IRA och ett rätt dystert liv. Språket är suveränt för genren och jag längtar efter fortsättningen, som ska ges ut i år.

Adrian McKinty fortsätter att imponera med sitt rappa språk och sina skildringar av ett 80-tals Belfast i krig. Deckarintrigen är snårig, utvikningen till USA inte så trovärdig och kärleksscenerna besynnerligt blodfattiga. Ändå lockas man till att fortsätta läsa och ser gärna en fortsättning på serien om Sean McDuffy.

Tidigare i år läste jag första delen, Kall, kall jord, i den här serien och jag blev förvånad när jag upptäckte att inte alla blev helt övertygade av den. Som jag blev. Så mycket är så rätt med de här böckerna och det kan faktiskt vara så att Sean Duffy är min nya Harry Hole. Läs mer på min blogg
