I "De hjemvendte" (Home front) av Kristin Hannah får man ta del av en känslosam och stark berättelse. Boken utspelar sig kring en militärfamilj i USA men utspelar sig även i Irak men även lite i Tyskland. En soldat är med i ett krig men kriget tar kanske inte slut bara för att personen återvänt hem. Många olika bitar för hela familjen berörs i boken och vad krig gör med människor. En gripande bok som man kommer ihåg länge. Har inte hittat boken på svenska men den finns på norska och engelska.
