Skaplig brittisk deckare att fly in i för några timmar. Jag gillar Lynley och Havers och även de andra karaktärerna är ganska okej. Men själva intrigen är ganska krystad och nästan lite löjeväckande enligt mig. Välskriven, men ingenting som jag kommer att minnas.

En typisk deckare av Elizabeth George. Helt okej men varken mer eller mindre. Lite för mycket tjafs om Havers senila mor som hon inte kan tänka sig att lämna in på något hem och Lynleys "obesvarade" kärlek till Helen...

Boken är full av många omständliga beskrivningar av allt och ingenting vilket tyvärr får den att kännas dryg och långtråkig istället för spännande.
