Lagom kort och bitterljuvt om stackars Ethan -- tillräckligt visionär för att längta efter ett annat liv men också tillräckligt ansvarsfull för att aldrig kunna sträcka sig efter det. Wharton är riktigt bra på dialoger och att i dessa dialoger låta mänskliga relationer skina igenom. Och kanske beror det på årstiden, men man kan verkligen känna snön knarra under slädmedarna i läsningen.
