När jag hittade den här på S.F. Bokhandeln hade jag i stort sätt bara läst HP Lovecrafts Cthulhu myhos och diverse strö-noveller. Jag hade läst vissa av dess tidigare, men "Dreams of terror and death" sammanfogar och sätter hans historier om dreamlands i ett större sammanhang. Trots att novellerna är publicerade över en längre tidsperiod så finns oändligt många kopplingar mellan historierna och man börjar inse hur komplext och unikt hans inre universum verkligen var. Om du ska läsa en enda av novellerna, läs "the dreamquest of unknown kadath".
