(Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant, 1983.) Vi får följa Pearl Tull och hennes tre barn, Cody, Ezra och Jenny, fram till hennes död. Läste nånstans att det här skulle vara Anne Tylers bästa roman, kanske det. I alla fall är det här en roman som sakta växer vid läsningen. Slutomdömet blir en läsupplevelse utöver det vanliga.
