Åh, Frances Hardinge! Älskar berättarperspektivet eller snarare huvudgestalten, vars gradvisa skakande insikt i vad hon är känns ända in i hjärteroten. Ett skrämmande världsbygge och en enormt spännande historia, med en typ av huvudgestalt jag inte mött förut. Synd dock att omslaget inte är lika tilltalande som på Lögnernas träd.
