Boken är underhållande och trots att jag mitt under läsningen av den fick reda på att det inte alls rör sig om en memoar utan om skönlitteratur (Trudy Baker och Rachel Jones är fiktiva personer) så tycker jag ändå på det stora hela att det är en bra bok. Först blev jag besviken, det är inte två unga kvinnor som insiktsfullt ser tillbaka på sina liv och analyserar den värld de lever i utan en gubbe som fantiserar om denna kanske mest mystifierade grupp yrkeskvinnor. Men det är inte så mycket dreggel, det finns faktiskt en hel del distans till 60-talets gubbvälde och sexism. Resultatet: ett hyfsat trovärdigt och framför allt humoristiskt porträtt av två unga kvinnor som satsar på en av få accepterade karriärer på 60-talet.
