Mycket spännande och välskriven. Meyer är en mästare i att klara av parallella berättelser och hans personporträtt är intresseväckande. Här är slutet lite halvdant, verkar tippa över mot blaha, men Meyer rätar upp det hela. De historiska kopplingarna till dagens Sydafrika är intressata.
