Kryddigt brittiskt etno-drama med allt vad det innebär av förtryckta hustrur, passiviserade män, gängbildning och en och annan kort kjol. Zadie Smith gör den här sortens litteratur med ett helt annat djup och grad av underhållning.

Seg. Jag orkade inte läsa mer än ca 150 sidor, det kändes som om det aldrig hände något. I och för sig kanske det var meningen, men jag orkar inte med det.
