Blev lite besviken på boken eftersom jag trodde att den skulle vara något liknande Vilda svanar. Den är mer en historiabok om Kinas moderna historia än en biografi. Samtidigt är den intressant och författaren har lagt ner ett enormt arbete på faktauppgifterna. Systrarna Soong skildras mer utifrån vad de gör och deras positoner i samhället än en mer personlig skildring.
