Länge drog jag mig för att börja läsa någon av alla dess Fantasy-romaner som finns. Jag tänkte att de säkert bara är bleka kopior av Tolkien. Efter en rekommendation började jag ändå läsa "Stenens väktare" av David Eddings och fann att hans fantasy faktiskt var mindre högtravande och roligare än den store Tolkien. De tre första böckerna i serien höll mig hårt fängslad, sedan mattades mitt intresse något.
