Marie Darrieussecq har i boken Härligt är att leva här gjort något storartat, tycker jag. Hennes lilla tunna och fantastiska bok fångar inte bara Paula Modersohn- Beckers allt för korta liv, och hennes väg för att bli konstnär, utan sätter också in berättelsen i ett historiskt, politiskt perspektiv.
