Boken är tråkig, i stort sett en enda lång redogörelse för styrelseöverläggningar i en kommunistisk grupp i Sydrhodesia (nuvarande Zimbabwe). Lite då och då glimtar det till men dessa delar utvecklas inte tillräckligt för att påverka betyget på ett positivt sätt. "En fläkt av stormen" är en stor besvikelse efter del 1 och 2 i serien som jag räknar som några av mina största läsupplevelser.
