Synnerligen brittisk syn på 1000 år av deras gemensamma historia med Frankrike. Mycket glimten i ögat och humor och många gliringar åt fransmännen, men samtidigt en god dos självironi och dito distans. Ett lättläst och annorlunda sätt att dyka ner i två av Europas stora nationer och deras ideliga (och oundvikliga) kontakter genom historien.
