Vilken bra bok! Huvudpersonen Leila är en prostituerad kvinna som just har blivit mördad och lagd i en soptunna i Istanbul. Kroppen är död men hjärnan lever i tio minuter och 38 sekunder till. Under den tiden tänker hon på sin egen uppväxt, sitt vuxna liv i Istanbul och på sina bästa fem udda vänner. En vindlande historia mellan öst och väst, olika kulturer och religioner allt i den myllrande storstaden Istanbul. En fantastisk historia som fängslade mig från allra första sidan.
